Travis Kelce reason for leaving Taylor Swift apartment sums up NFL star
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was spotted leaving pop icon Taylor Swift ’s apartment in New York after the pair appeared to officially announce their relationship a day earlier.
The couple attended a recording of "Saturday Night Live" together and were snapped engaging in heavy PDA - holding hands and looking close. And at around 3pm on Sunday, Kelce was seen leaving Swift’s Tribeca apartment in a green Palm Angels tracksuit before appearing in the stands at the New York Jets’ clash with his brother Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium.
Despite being in a whirlwind relationship with Swift, there's clearly no keeping Kelce away from NFL, or indeed from his family. Travis and brother Jason have always been close and host a weekly podcast together.
Since news of Swift and Kelce emerged, fans of both the NFL and Swift have gone wild. The pair enjoyed a night out in the Big Apple and appeared comfortable in each other’s company.
The tight end opened a door for the world-famous singer-songwriter as she climbed into their car to attend an afterparty following an appearance on SNL. Both Kelce and Swift appeared in the recording of the hit sketch show, which is hosted by Pete Davidson.

The comedian was joined by Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson, Molly Kearney and Devon Walker as they performed a skit of the Fox "NFL Sunday pregame show". Playing reporters at an Eagles-Jets game, the six comedians made numerous references to Kelce and Swift’s relationship throughout.
The script alluded to Swift's appearance at the Chiefs’ recent win over the Jets, while there was also a mention of her previous relationships with Joe Alwyn and The 1975 singer Matty Healy. To the surprise of the studio audience, Kelce appeared towards the end of the skit while Swift announced the night’s musical guest, Ice Spice.

At the cast party, Swift and Kelce were seen kissing and later strolled into Catch NYC - a glamorous steakhouse often visited by celebrities - at around 2.20am while holding hands.
Their presence in Manhattan sparked belief that they could also make an NFL cameo in New Jersey as the Jets welcomed the Eagles to town. Despite Kelce scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl win over Philadelphia, Swift is a renowned Eagles fan and excitement swelled over a potential appearance by the duo.
However, it was not to be. Swift was first spotted cheering on Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs' Week 3 rout of the Chicago Bears, before hitting the Big Apple the following week. She missed the Chiefs’ win over the Minnesota Vikings before flying to watch the 19-8 victory over the Denver Broncos on Thursday night after enjoying the premier of her Eras Tour movie in Los Angeles.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City's star quarterback and two-time MVP Patrick, was sat alongside Swift and Kelce’s mother Donna in their suite. She could be seen hugging Swift when Kelce collected a Mahomes pass and turned it into a big gain.
Another sign their relationship is getting more serious was seen on Thursday as Swift chatted to Kelce’s dad Ed for the first time. She reportedly spent the night at Kelce's home as her security team was spotted outside the property on Friday.
