'Proud' Ryan Thomas and daughter Scarlett to cheer on Adam at Strictly
Ryan Thomas has revealed he is taking his daughter Scarlett to watch her uncle Adam Thomas compete on tonight's Strictly Come Dancing.
Former Coronation Street star Ryan, 39, is incredibly close to his family – especially his beloved brothers Adam, 35, and Scott, also 35.
Waterloo Road actor Adam, who appears on the BBC drama alongside his niece Scarlett, is currently taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing and is dancing with professional Luba Mushtuk.
Meanwhile, Ryan has recently been confirmed for the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice – proving the Thomas brothers are still busier than ever. Despite Ryan's busy schedule, he revealed in an exclusive chat with the Mirror at the Pride of Britain Awards last weekend that he is taking the time to see his brother strut his stuff on the Strictly dancefloor – and is bringing his actress daughter Scarlett, 14, along to the studio too.

It’s just amazing to see him do something new and I think it’s very testing that show, it’s very hard for everybody and they put a lot of hard work into it. Credit to them all, they’re really amazing, all of them.”

The former soap star added: “We are very proud we’re all very supportive family and we can’t wait to see him next week.
“I’m taking Scarlett next week to see Adam in Strictly so that will be nice.”

Strictly star Adam Thomas has had his fair share of struggles on the series (PA)Adam hasn't had the easiest Strictly journey as he revealed shortly before the latest series began that he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis – a long-term condition that causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints.
Earlier this week the star posted a photo of himself in hospital and explained that he was getting some more tests to help better treat his medical condition.
The photo showed him in hospital with a strap around his arm and pieces of medical equipment behind him. He penned in the caption: “One day I will get my arthritis under control but until then... more bloods and more doctors. Staying strong.”
It was back in August that Adam first went public with news of his painful health condition - revealing he had been struggling with symptoms since the beginning of the year. He wrote online at the time: “I’ve been in a lot of pain since January, it started with my knees and then traveled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes.
“I never knew what was happening and finally after several blood tests and back and forth to doctors and hospitals, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis! I thought that was something people, later on in there life get… but that’s not the case, clearly!”
He went on to explain that he felt his symptoms were improving after he had been diagnosed and granted treatment.
