Stacey Dooley surprises Kevin Clifton on his first birthday since becoming a dad

Stacey Dooley has surprised partner Kevin Clifton on his first birthday since becoming a dad to daughter Minnie.

The 36-year-old took to her Instagram page to share two sweet posts. The first was a photo of Kevin dressed in a white shirt with a bright yellow bow tie as he raised his hand and smiled for the camera.

Stacey captioned the post: "Main character energy ALWAYS The LOML H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y D A D D Y ! We are the luckiest, truly. Mummy and Queen Mins".

She then shared another picture of Kevin holding his daughter with silver balloons spelling out "41 DADDY". Kevin held his daughter in his arms as he wore a grey tracksuit and smiled in front of the decorations.

"Celebrating Daddy last night," Stacey captioned the post. Friends and fans of the former Strictly star took to the comments to wish his a happy 41st birthday.

One person said: "Happy birthday have the best day xx," as a second wrote: "Happy Birthday King Kev of Grimsby."

"Awww, hope you had the best day Kev!," a third added, with another saying: "Happy birthday Many blessings to you @sjdooley."

Kevin and Stacey first got together after they competed on Strictly Come Dancing together and went on to win the series in 2018.

At the time Stacey was still in a relationship but that soon broke down and, once the series had finished, Kevin and Stacey confirmed their relationship.

Kevin moved into Stacey's flat before the two of them then went on to buy a house together in west London. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength and they now have their own family with daughter Minnie.

The pair haven't spoken much about marriage, as Stacey has joked in the past that Kevin has already done it a "couple of times". She said in July 2023 that marriage isn't important to her and she's never been someone who has "dreamt about" getting married.

She said: "I don’t subscribe to the idea that you can offer more stability if you’re married, because we know that loads of marriages end in divorce."
