Myleene Klass revealed she made her fiancé Simon Motson 'sign a contract' before he moved in with her.

The star wanted 'true clarity' as she came up with a contract that would protect her and her children's money and assets. The 45-year-old Hear'Say singer appeared on Loose Women on Friday and opened up about the realities of marriage, divorce, and having children.

She also discussed how she put her fortune in a trust to help her children - daughters Ava, 16, Hero, 12, and Apollo, four - in the future and to stop any of their potential future partners seeing them as a quick 'payday'.

Speaking of divorce and the monetary impact it has, she said: "What you're left with. You can potentially lose your house and half your earnings. You're in a no man's land not knowing what your rights are.

"I've told my children they will never be in that situation. We have very open conversations." The star went on to discuss her relationship with fiancé Simon. She continued: "I'm engaged. When my partner Sim, a very lovely man, when he came to live in our family home he signed a contract.

"Not a prenup because we're not married, but like a tenancy agreement I suppose, or a co-habitation agreement. He was so sweet, he said 'I don't need that with you, it's fine I'll just sign anything'. I said to him ''no please go and read this. Go and look at the small print that says then I know you know what you're walking into' and if you still walk in with that...

"It's not about the romance, you can still have romance. It gives you true clarity. I know what you earn, I know what you have, I know what you're bringing. I told my daughters, 'If you get with someone you can't touch mamma's money it's in a trust', which is true. So no one can look at them and think there's a payday."

Myleene added: "This isn't about the women I also don't want my son to go into a situation where he could be taken advantage of either." She was previously married to Hear'Say's bodyguard Graham Quinn. The two tied the knot in 2011 but split after only a year of marriage.
