After seeing a few beauty advent calendars on the market, our Beauty Ed is calling this one the best of them all!

I’m calling it. In my honest opinion, after seeing with my very own eyes, a of plethora of advent calendars this year - the SpaceNK Beauty Advent Calendar is literally the best one you can buy for 2023. Yes at £235 it’s not cheap - but it’s literally worth over £1,000 and contains 33 products, including viral ones you’ve probably seen all over social media and TikTok - from Rare Beauty, Tatcha, Olaplex, Hourglass and so much more. I mean there’s even an eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury in there - and she hasn’t included one in her own advent calendar…

Think of SpaceNK as the ‘influencer’s paradise’, or bouji Boots - the place has everything you’d ever want, like if you’re serious about your skin and haircare, not to mention everything you best friend, sister, mum or other family member would be over the moon to receive come Christmas Day.

SpaceNK hail this beauty advent calendar as ‘lust worthy’ - and they aren’t wrong. The amount of friends and randoms that slide into my DMs about which beauty advent calendar they should be buying - and this one wins by a mile. All 25 boxes are fit to bursting with on trend makeup, luxury skincare, salon-grade haircare, and the stuff you next bath and body dreams of.

Now usually I would pick five favourites, but it was seriously hard with this one… So I’ve gone with 10 (soz) - and the reasons why I absolutely love or can’t wait to slather, lather and use these beauty products! So without further ado, we’re starting strong with Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Setting Spray. I am a huge fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, but I once fell down the stairs and spilt half a glass of Gin & Tonic over my hair and face! Thankfully, the Hydro Grip Setting Spray made sure I still looked perfect - I just had to pat my face and blow-dry my lashes…

I’m a sucker for candles, but hate buying expensive ones - because it’s literally like burning money, right? But let me tell you, the Boy Smells Hinoki Fantôme Scented Candle smells so sexy, that’s money I’d happily burn. Infused with the scent of smoky Japanese cypress and jasmine petals, this ‘sultry’ candle literally smells like a gorgeous, autumnal fire - and I’m here for it.

Talking of burning money, I’ve always wanted to try anything from Tatcha. So when I saw that the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist was inside this advent calendar? I literally squealed a little with excitement. I’m always spritzing my skin before applying skincare, so I really feel like this versatile facial mist will be ideal - during those times I either want to set my makeup, or just refresh my skin, whenever it needs a little hydrating boost.

After seeing the Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm all over TikTok, for how well it removes makeup, SPF and general dirt and grime? Getting this bad boy in my top 10 was a no brainer - I’m just excited to finally give it a go for myself.

Another makeup remover that made my list was of course from Kate Somerville, with the Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser. This gentle, creamy formula is enriched with goat milk proteins, that actually help soothe, dry and sensitive skin. So if you feel like everything else burns when you remove your makeup and skincare at night? Give this (literally) 'GOAT' a try, as I promise you’ll never look back.

'I think this is the best Beauty Advent Calendar for 2023 - and yours for £235'As hard as it was, these are just a few of Sarah's favourites from the SpaceNK Beauty Advent Calendar

With party season on the horizon, it can really take its toll on our skin - especially our lips if we’re not drinking enough water (and too much tequila…), so you can guarantee that I’ll be slathering the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Chocolate all over at night - praying for softer, smoother lips by morning.

Making sure our peepers are well and truly hydrated, and look better than ever, I’ll probably be slapping the Tula Skincare Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm on day, and night. Formulated with caffeine to help tighten the area around the eyes, this cream also contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate - and blueberry to protect delicate skin. My top tip? Pop it in the fridge or freezer to really help depuff.

Speaking of which, the 111 SKIN Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Masks are another essential for party season that will really help your undereye bags disappear - and restore some radiance. Infused with important amino acids, peptides, and proteins - these miracle workers really help to encourage a natural glow (which is much needed after a 2am finish…)

I’ve always heard and read about the incredible Sunday Riley products - I just can’t justify the price tag… So opening a box and discovering the C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum was included? I was over the moon - especially as it costs £70 for 30ml! If you suffer from hyperpigmentation, then this concentrated, fast absorbing serum will become your new best friend.

And finally, I mentioned before, even the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar didn’t have an eyeshadow in it - but the one from SpaceNK does - and not a ‘duff’ colour in sight! In fact, as someone that’s not huge on eyeshadows these days, I’ll probably get a lot of wear out of this one, due to the fact the colours are really subtle and only a little bit of shimmer is included. Plus, who doesn’t want the illusion of bigger, brighter eyes over the 'festive szn'?

So there you have it, my top 10 (which was very hard to pick) from the SpaceNK Beauty Advent Calendar. Will I keep and use every product? Yes. Is it worth the £235 price tag? 100%. Will I now be spending my hard-earned cash on bouji skincare products? Probably… But this advent calendar really is a great way to try out viral products - that you’ve not wanted to part ways with your money before.
