An insider claims that Joe Jonas is angry about Taylor's involvement in his divorce with Sophie Turner

Joe Jonas is reportedly furious over Taylor Swift's "meddling" in his divorce with his estranged wife Sophie Turner.

A source close to Joe has shed light on his reaction to his estranged wife's budding friendship with his ex-girlfriend Taylor claiming the Jonas Brother believes her involvement in their divorce could be making their split "messier" than it needs to be. Joe filed for divorce from Sophie after four years of marriage and two children together in September, citing "irreconciable differences" as the reason for the breakdown of their love. Since then, his ex Taylor and Sophie have discovered a newfound friendship.

Taylor and Joe briefly dated one another back in 2016 for three months with their romance coming to an end after Joe broke up with her during a 27-second phone call. Taylor later went on to share her feelings about the musician in her famous hit songs "Forever and Always" and "Better Than Revenge." Now, Taylor seems to have a newfound relationship his ex as she and Sophie have been spotted on numerous dinner dates and attending a recent NFL game together.

Joe is reportedly not fond of the idea of their friendship with a source telling Heat Magazine: "Joe is disgusted by the way Taylor is trying to turn this into some mean-girl high school game," and continued: "This is so much bigger than a break-up - this is about the wellbeing and future of his and Sophie's kids. Joe will go to the ends of the Earth to keep his daughters close, and if that means going to battle with Taylor, then so be it. Taylor may think she's coming out of this looking cute, but he thinks she's being incrediblely immature."

Since the pair have been spending more time together it has also been reported that the Grammy award-winning singer offered Sophie a place to stay. Taylor is said to have loaned Sophie her New York City penthouse apartment in Tribeca as she worked out her legal troubles with Joe.

This offer for Sophie stay in her home reportedly struck a chord with Joe. The insider told the news outlet: "Right off the bat, Taylor steamed in and made a point of adopting Sophie - being her shoulder to cry on. Now Taylor's offering Sophie her apartment in New York, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back for Joe."

Despite Joe's cold-hearted breakup with Taylor, the pair seemed to push their differences aside and become friends over the years. Taylor even went on to apologize to Joe for issuing harsh statements against him during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres and have been reported to be on good terms with one another.

The source also spoke of this dynamic and told the news outlet there is an irony as Joe and Taylor had seemingly been in good terms. While her befriending of his estranged wife doesn't appear to be the problem, the insider says he's wary that Taylor's meddling could be making the split even messier than it has to be.
