Princess Andre is clearly excited about becoming a big sister again as she reacted with love to the news her father and his wife are expecting another child together.

Pop singer Peter Andre, 50, has been married to doctor wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, since 2015 and together they share a ten-year-old daughter named Amelia and a six-year-old son named Theo. Peter shares 16-year-old daughter Princess and 18-year-old son Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, 45 - and his daughter sounds excited about the news her family is set to grow again.

On Thursday, Pete surprised fans when he announced that he and Emily are expecting their third child together - which will be his fifth. He took to social media to share a photograph of himself and Emily positioned strategically amongst some foliage while seemingly out on a country walk.

In the photo, Emily could be seen flashing a winning smile while holding a string of ultrasound scan images that showed she is with child. Peter himself, clad in an autumnal polo neck sweater, had a smile on his own face and shared the post via his instagram with a message stating: “We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited... So are we.”

Proud daughter Princess was among the first to react to the news, sharing a red heart emoji in response to the posting and writing: “Congratulations”. The next bundle of joy will be her seventh sibling.

Mum Katie has a 21-year-old son named Harvey who she welcomed following a fling with footballer Dwight Yorke. And she also has two children with 36-year-old ex-husband Kieran Hayler. The pair, who were in a relationship from 2012 until 2018 and married from 2013, have a son named Jett, nine, and daughter named Bunny, aged eight.

Peter had previously hinted he wanted to be a father for the fifth time while still feeling young. Back in 2019, years before he entered his 50s, he hinted he had been begging his wife to allow them to try for another bundle of joy - after previously thinking they had reached a limit.

He told OK! Magazine at the time: “After Theo we said we were absolutely done but recently we’ve been talking about another baby. It’ll have to be soon though. I don’t want to be changing nappies when I’m 50!”

As his landmark year approached, however, he began changing his tune - hinting he would be happy to be an older father. He said during a podcast appearance in July: "Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I'm done and then I find myself having conversations with Em going, 'Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?' I can't even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don't know, it's just one of those things. It's just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don't know."

Junior himself has previously hinted he wanted his dad to stop having kids out of fears the age gap between him and his youngest siblings would be too high. He said in 2021: “I think the age gap would be too big. If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there. I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I also have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.”
