With still a few months left until Christmas, Harrods has launched its festive crackers box, leaving shoppers with some time to save up to buy the £750 staple.

The box of six, dubbed the 'Gilty Pleasures', equates to £125 per cracker, but thankfully, there are no bad jokes inside. Instead, it features designer items, gift vouchers and perfume. The luxury department store has described the bundle as its "main event" and confirmed shoppers will find either an Aspinall heart keyring, Wolf card holder, silk eye mask by Gingerlily, a silver card holder by Christofle, Trudon 15ml perfume or Dr Vranjes candle.

A £50 gift voucher, that is linked to the item they have secured, is nestled inside. Harrods described the "unique gifts" on its website and said: "Opening gifts on Christmas morning may be the traditional highlight of the day, but this year, Harrods' luxury Christmas crackers are determined to be the main event. Comprised of six unique gifts, this collection is the ultimate 'Gilty' Pleasure, bestowing two lavish card holders, an eau de parfum and vouchers galore on a lucky festive winner!" Harrods does also have cheaper crackers at £109, including a culinary edition with jokes, hats and a kitchen utensil for each lucky guest. The store released a similar £750 set last year.

At the time, Harrods described the crackers as "a little more elevated" than the usual ones being flogged at supermarkets. One of the items inside included a Dupont pen which costs between a staggering £250 and £1,500, reports Time Out. Shoppers called the price as "crazy" and branded the box as a "joke." One person said at the time: "Harrods sells Christmas crackers for £750 for a pack of 6. Ludicrous." Another added: "Just £750 for crackers from Harrods this year..." A third wrote: "Harrods is selling £750 Christmas crackers. With these crackers, the joke isn't on the inside, it's on the price tag on the outside."
