And now a New York-based plastic surgeon has weighed in amid the claims that the singer's face looks "painful", with the mystery surrounding Madonna's shocking facial tweaks not being so mysterious anymore.
Influencer who encouraged followers to battle obesity dies after gastric surgeryDr Barry Weintraub spoke to MailOnline. Looking at photos of the singer when she was younger compared to now, he revealed at least 12 different tweakments.
Firstly the doctor pointed out a brow lift, with him noting that in recent photos her eyebrows are "higher than the position of her brows in 1986". He also noted how Madonna has lost her dimples, likely due to fillers, before he speculated that the singer has likely undergone work on her eyelids in order to give them a younger appearance.
He then speculated that Madonna has likely had Botox around her eyes and in her forehead due to them being smooth and wrinkle-free, with the singer's famous mole above her lip now much more faint than it once was.
Dr Weintraub also revealed to the paper that he believes Madge has had at least one nose job. He noted that in the 1986 snap he analysed, "the tip of the nose is blunted and the nostrils are not arched". He then said: "[But now] the nose is more pointy. And if you look closely, the left nostril is also slightly higher than the right."
As well as Botox, the doctor speculated repeated filler and fat injections due to her cheekbones being "much, much fuller". He said that he believes it to look this way as a result of "fat or filler injections"
The doctor then said that Madonna's lips are "not normal" and don't look anything like the lips she had in the 80s, with her also potentially having had filler added to her jawline. He then speculated a neck lift and laser resurfacing too.
