Finding a pair of quality wireless earphones can be a tricky task if you're on a budget, tacky sound, cheap quality and an uncomfy fit is usually what comes with a cheaper pair. As Amazon steps into day two of its Prime Day sale I spotted a budget alternative to a premium brand that looked too good to turn down, so I put them to the test.

The Btootos A90 Pro True Wireless Earbuds have currently dropped to just £19.99 in the sale, and those who spot the online voucher can take the checkout price to just above £17 with a 10% code.

It's a price that seems too good to be true, but after testing the pair out for myself I'd urge people to try these before dropping hundreds on a similar pair at the likes of Apple, Samsung, Pixel and even Bose.

After wearing the wireless buds for a whole week - working from home, on an evening walk, on the train and around the house - I've finally found a cheap pair that don't scrimp on sound quality in a bid to cut the price.

Fitted with the latest Bluetooth 5.3 connecting to a smartphone is pretty seamless to do and after the first time there's no hanging around in your device settings, all you have to do is open up the charging case and you'll hear the buds connect.

And these features are why I'd urge anyone to add a pair to their basket.
