After a killing spree spanning months, one of TV’s most dangerous soap killers Stephen Reid could be about to come to a sticky end. Soap fans are being treated to unmissable episodes this week as they finally discover whether serial killer Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid will flee the country or come to a sticky end. The businessman, played by Todd Boyce, is set to leave the soap after 27 years but will he claim one final victim before he leaves?

Stephen Reid certainly isn’t the only soap opera villain to have readers gripped - here are a few of the best soap villains of all time.
