Charlotte Crosby mocks Masked Singer judges who compared voice to Mary J Blige

Charlotte Crosby has mocked The Masked Singer: Australia judges who compared her voice to Mary J Blige.

The reality TV star was the latest celeb to be unveiled on the show as she impressed viewers and judges with her impressive voice. The 33-year-old was the Space Fairy on the show, with judges comparing her voice to Mary J Blige, Marcia Hines, Joss Stone and Jesy Nelson.

She showed off her singing voice performing a number of tunes, but it seems she doesn't think she's as good as others do as she found it ridiculous to be compared to other singers.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle on Tuesday, the mum-of-one said: "Surely I didn't sound like Mary J Blige! I can carry a tune, but I'm not the best of the best. [But] the fact that I went out on stage in front of a crowd and a Spice Girl... I've never in my whole entire life thought I'd be able to do that."

Charlotte previously said her time on the show was "horrendous" but she cleared up that she meant wearing the costume. She said: "When I took the head off, I was like, 'Thank God I am finally free, that's been horrendous' and I was talking about the costume."

When she was unveiled she spoke to host Osher Günsberg when she admitted she's never sung in front of anyone in her life. She said: "Do you understand how nervous I've been. Listen, I thought I was going to whip this head off and it was going to be like a L'Oreal advert." However, it seems that Charlotte found the show to be completely different: "I've been ripping my extensions out with stress. This has been horrendous."

Many other famous faces have been taking part in the Australian version of the show including Bluebottles being unmasked as Shaynna Blaze last week. Bad Avocado was unmasked as Summer Warne, the youngest daughter of late cricketing legend Shane Warne, the week before. Channel 10 newsreader Sandra Sully was also unmasked as Fawn and in the first episode Brian Austin Green from Beverly Hills, 90210 was unmasked as Crash Test Dummy.
