Abbey Clancy has landed one of the best jobs in the entire world - she gets to snoop around celebrities’ houses for a new ITV show.

Brilliantly, she stumbles into a dining room that plays home to two live donkeys. The model-turned-presenter will nose around the dwellings of race car driver Jodie Kidd, former Sugababe Heidi Range and fashion designer Alice Temperley, who has some four legged friends roaming around.

Abbey says: “I went to one celebrity house which is honestly my dream house. There was a donkey in the dining room which was just incredible, the owner has got two donkeys which just roam in and out of the house.”

As well as donkeys Banjo and Mojo, the interiors are also pretty, and Abbey reckons she gets a better understanding of the stars by looking at how they kit out their houses. Although some of the houses aren’t my particular taste, it’s eye-opening seeing what makes people’s houses a home,” she says. “Through their interiors I’ve been able to get a deeper look into who these people really are as individuals.”

It comes after Abbey and her husband Peter recently introduced their latest addition to their family. The couple, who have been together 17 years and married for 12, already share children Sophia, 12, Liberty, eight, Johnny, five, and four-year-old Jack. But the family revealed the newest member of the Crouch clan last week.

Sharing the exciting news with fans on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, Abbey gave fans a glimpse of their new puppy – but it quickly descended into carnage. As 37-year-old Abbey put the pup down on the floor because she thought he needed a wee, he ended up doing something even worse.

“I’m going to put him down,” Abbey said, to which witty husband Peter, 42, quipped back: “You going to put him down? F***ing hell, that’s a bit harsh.” Fans were then left wondered what the dog had done next as Abbey was heard saying: “This is not happening. This is not happening right now.”

To give fans some context, Peter interjected: “Do you want to explain for your listeners who aren’t watching on YouTube?” A gutted Abbey then explained: “Going back to that question, do you want to put the dog down. Yes I am, because the dog has just knocked a full glass of Ribena on my white silk rug.”

The former footballer then joked: “This wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t get the dog” as Abbey said: “I’m actually gonna have to pause this seriously, because that’s just gonna go. What the hell.”

Getting down on the floor in an attempt to save her beloved rug, husband Pete continued: “I hate to say I told you so. I wasn’t even allowed in here a few weeks ago and now the dog’s in here spilled Ribena.”

Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes airs on ITVBe and ITVX on Thursday.
