Strictly Come Dancing contestant Bobby Brazier has shared the heartwarming way his godsister is supporting him in the dance competition.

The 20-year-old EastEnders actor, who plays Freddie Slater on the long-running soap, has been enjoying the full support of his father Jeff Brazier and younger brother Freddie. He revealed during this weekend's results show that his godsister had chosen him as the subject of a school show-and-tell presentation.

"She did a show and tell at school and it was about me. She came here to watch the rehearsal and she spoke about that and she took in a magazine that I was on the cover of," he told host Claudia Winkleman. He proceeded to clutch his chest and say: "Ada, I love you!" The other stars and dancers let out a collected 'aw' as he told the sweet story.

Bobby and his professional partner Dianne Buswell have successfully progressed to the fourth week of the competition following their impressive samba performance on Saturday.

The duo, who channelled Romeo and Juliet in their performance, scored a commendable 32 points. Anton Du Beke described the routine as 'remarkable' and complimented Bobby on his 'doubled-jointed trick pelvis.' Head judge Shirley Ballas echoed this sentiment, praising Bobby for 'bringing some rhythm in that pelvis this evening'.

Craig Revel Horwood, known for his critical comments, commended Bobby for making what was 'quite an unnatural dance for men look very natural'. The pair received an eight from each judge, solidifying their position as strong contenders for the trophy this series.

However, fans of the BBC programme vented their frustrations on social media, with many declaring the pair should have topped the leaderboard. Bobby and Dianne's respectable 32, however, was only enough to see them chart in fourth - behind Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu (35), Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer (34) and Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola (32).

One disgruntled fan wrote on Instagram : "Seriously undermarked and I never say that lightly, he was so good. Another penned: "Very undermarked. Marking and comments don't match up, they didn't give him one negative comment or anything to work on. It was [the most] amazing dance of the night for me."

A third took to X (formerly Twitter ) to declare: Bobby was severely undermarked, that Samba was everythingggg #Strictly." And a fourth wrote: "Bobby and Dianne were so ridiculously undermarked for that samba like HELLO DID WE WATCH THE SAME THING?? #strictly."
