'Sad' Caitlyn Jenner admits she no longer speaks to ex-wife Kris Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed she no longer speaks to ex-wife Kris Jenner.

The former Olympic medallist was married to Kris for 23 years and they share daughters Kendall, 27, and Kylie, 26. Caitlyn, then known as Bruce, also became step-dad to Kris' kids from her first marriage; Kourtney, 44, Kim, 42, Khloe, 39, and Rob, 36.

But since their split in 2013 - two years before Caitlyn came out as trans on the now infamous Vanity Fair cover - she shared communication between them has dwindled, despite Kris being supportive of her life choices.

Speaking to ITV's This Morning ahead of a new three-part documentary House of Kardashian being broadcast on Sky at the weekend, 73-year-old Caitlyn dropped the bombshell: "Well Kris, I never really talk to anymore," when asked by host Josie Gibson what her relationship was like with the Kardashian-Jenner clan these days.

Calling it "sad", Caitlyn said the only way she and Kris communicate now is via her manager. She also revealed she was closer with some of her kids than others as there are so many of them.

Caitlyn explained: "When you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others… I certainly see them and we do this and that. I’m much closer to the Jenner side with Brandon and Brody, Burt and my daughter Casey (from his first marriage before Kris). But Kris, I don’t really have any more contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot.”

Sharing details of their relationship before things turned sour between them, Caitlyn said she first met Kris on a blind date back in 1991 and they "hit it off from day one".

She confessed: “I had been single for six years, and really kind of struggling with myself and who I was and how I fit into the world. I was just turning 40 and met Kris on a blind date, we hit it off from day one.

"Was it love at first sight? Pretty close to that, yes. I was totally impressed with her and how she lived her life - she had four kids, I had four kids… and we got married five and a half months later! It was very quick.”

Although the family are worth billions now, it wasn't always that way. At the beginning Caitlyn said her and Kris had no money, but it was Kris' business acumen that grew their fortune.

She said: “We had no money. We started with nothing, Kris fired the manager and said I’m going to take over… she hadn’t really done anything like that before, but she kind of knew the business game, and just started building it.”

‌Fuelling further rift rumours, Kris is reportedly "furious" that Caitlyn keeps 'dropping bombshells'" about her family - including claims her daughter Kim has always been fame hungry - and did not want her working on the new documentary.

A source told Closer magazine: "Kris is convinced Caitlyn is being vindictive and doing this out of spite because she wasn't included in their new show [The Kardashians]. Kris is furious, she's had it to the back teeth with Caitlyn's drama and betrayal. She's talking seriously about totally ghosting Caitlyn from here on out and wants everyone in the family to follow suit. It's sealed her status as a traitor in Kris' eyes... even Kendall and Kylie are shocked."

When quizzed on claims Kris isn’t happy with her involvement in the upcoming show and her comments so far, Caitlyn denied there was any truth to it and told Holly and Josie: "It’s part of the game. The media will make up a lot of the controversy and try to make up a story."
