Residents in real danger

Next week will see Stephen's lies finally exposed, but as those he's hurt realised he's to blame, the Weatherfield residents will put themselves in danger trying to find out the truth once and for all. Jenny Connor ( Sally Ann Matthews ) is back on the cobbles getting ready for her trip with Stephen to Thailand, but her world is rocked as she's told police consider Stephen a suspect for the murders of Teddy and Leo.

Carla Connor (Alison King) has been determined for some time that Stephen is behind her LSD trips and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will stop at nothing to protect her, but will he go a step too far? When Audrey discovers her first born son has stolen her house from underneath her, she sets out to find him to confront him, but the Coronation Street stalwart places herself in grave danger by doing so.

Stephen's killer crimes have remained under wraps, but the residents of Weatherfield finally seem to be cottoning on to what he's done – and Tim Metcalfe for one is is keen to expose him. Problem is, the decision to settle a score with his mum's ex could cost him his life.

Tim becomes Stephen's next and, possibly, final target. But he's not the only one at risk, with actor Todd hinting Peter Barlow was in the firing line too ahead of his own departure, telling us: "I think Tim and I think Peter is putting himself in a dangerous position, but Tim definitely is just in my sights. Stephen is furious with his situation so he'd kill Tim just out of anger, not even any other reason. He’s a time bomb, he’s exploding."

ITV soap spoilers confirm Tim will be left fighting for his life in the boot of his car which is doused in petrol.
