A three-bedroom family home has been put up for sale - but it appears as though it's covered in mould. The terraced property, located in Luton, is selling for £230,000 but buyers have been warned it is "in need of modernisation".

As seen on the Purple Bricks listing, the house is covered in black marks covering everything from walls, cabinets and even duvet covers. Walking through the front door the new homeowner is met with grot and filth from every angle. In the kitchen the walls are caked with dark patches. Above the washing machine is a huge gaping hole in the ceiling, while the curtains and kitchen cabinets are also stained by dirt. The once laminated kitchen and diner flooring is also blackened by filth.

An upstairs bedroom is full of clutter and posters - in a bid to hide what appears to be mould ridden walls. Another cramped bedroom has a bunk bed with a desk about a ruler's width away. The bathroom has exposed brickworks, exposed wooden flooring and is coated with more dark marks on the walls. The discoloured shower curtain adds to the need for a deep clean. Another lone toilet room is also a victim of what seems to be mould and rusty pipes.

According to the listing published online, the home's key features include a spacious lounge, private rear garden, large kitchen, off street parking for three cars plus workshop, downstairs cloakroom/upstairs family bathroom and great access to local amenities/transport links. The home is also described as being a "great investment opportunity" although it is for "cash buyers only".
