Tyson Fury has proposed to his wife Paris a grand total of three times, with fans getting to see the boxer pop the question during the family's Netflix show At Home With The Furys. The hugely successful docuseries gave an insight into the big family's life amid the Gypsy King's retirement from boxing.

And now Paris has shared more details from behind the scenes as she plans their latest nuptials. Just teenagers when they met, Paris and Tyson now share seven children - with the latest arriving just last month. The pregnancy put plans for a vow renewal on hold, Paris has said, but she is now looking to plan a "subtle" celebration.

This is despite Tyson wanting a "big fat gypsy wedding," the 33-year-old joked. "I don’t want a big ceremony or a big wedding, I’d like something private with just me and him," she told OK!. The mum added: "It'll be nice to reaffirm our vows. If he had his way he’d have it like a circus – a whole Big Fat Gypsy Wedding again! But I think I’ll go subtle."

The couple met at a wedding when Paris was 15 and Tyson was 17. She remembers thinking he was an "old man" given his famous 6ft9 frame. Paris said: "I lifted my head and I was expecting to see someone at eye level because I’m not small myself, I’m five foot eight. I remember thinking, ‘Whose this old man you’re introducing me to?’

“He had a full beard, and was built like a machine. I thought, ‘You’re not a young boy… I’m going… You’ve introduced me to an old man.'" But 15 years on, the couple are happier than ever.

They share seven children: Venezuela, 14, Prince John James, 10, Prince 'Tutty' Tyson, six, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah Fury, four, Athena, two, and baby Prince Rico Paris.

Their children arrived after the couple tied the knot back in 2008. The celebrations saw 300 people cram into S. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

In her 2021 book Love & Fury, Paris revealed that Tyson wanted to move the date of their nuptials after he did not make the Bejing Olympics.

Explaining that she had planned the date around this, Paris wrote: "My fiancé clearly didn’t understand the amount of planning and organisation that went into a wedding. I was beginning to realise how incredibly impulsive he was, the sort of person who lived life in the moment and liked to make decisions on the hoof.

"In Tyson’s world, our big day could be rescheduled on a whim, just like one of his boxing matches. I was having none of it, though, and refused point blank to change the date."

Fans have since fallen in love with the whole family after watching their lives play out on their hugely successful Netflix show. And Paris said that producers are very keen to sign the family on for more episodes.

"We’re still in talks for a second series," she said. "Netflix are dying to do it and the reaction was so good so we’ll see!"
