Strictly viewers all say the same about Gorka Márquez's future on show
Strictly Come Dancing viewers have gushed over dancer Gorka Márquez.
It comes after viewers tuned in to discover that he and his celebrity partner Nikita Kanada were in the dance-off of the BBC programme. The couple had danced the Charleston to Beyoncé's Single Ladies during the live episode on Saturday night. However, they found themselves in the bottom two following the judge's scores and viewer votes.
But as the news emerged, fans all took to social media and were left fuming that Gorka could be sent packing before taking part in one crucial part of Strictly Come Dancing. Fans were urging BBC bosses to offer Gorka any amount of money to stay on the programme.
Many viewers have claimed they won't watch if Gorka leaves the show (BBC)During the opening scenes for Strictly, singer Beverly Knight performed a tribute to Tina Turner, singing her mega-hit Proud Mary and many fans noticed Gorka's nod to his performance with Alexandra Burke to the song. Taking to X (formerly Twitter ), one viewer said: "Viewership numbers will plummet when Gorka eventually leaves. Give that man as much money as he wants! #Strictly."
A second added: "He cannot leave without dancing in a same-sex partnership I mean that would be something else #Strictly." Meanwhile, another commented: "People are more bothered about Gorka than his actual celeb partner #Strictly." "My timeline is full of gays (myself included) incensed that Gorka could be going home so early #Strictly," penned another. A fifth penned: "We cannot lose Gorka so soon!!! #Strictly." Another added: "I'm not complaining about watching @gorkamarquez1 a*s again can his trousers get any tighter #StrictlyComeDancing."

Many noticed Gorka's nod to his performance with Alexandra Burke to Proud Mary (BBC)Sharing a snap of Gorka and Nikita as they discovered they were in the bottom two, one joked: "…this is because my leggings weren't tight enough, isn't it, #Strictly." Prior to the results show airing, Gorka's fiancée Gemma Atkinson shared an adorable snap of the moment their two children watched their dad on the programme.
Posting on her social media, Gemma shared a short clip of her with her two kids as they sang along to the Strictly theme tune. She also reposted Gorka's snap of him with Nikita before their dance, saying: "Let's goooooo!!! Team Gorka." Meanwhile, during the opening tribute to Tina, many noticed Gorka's nod to his and Alexandra's performance.
"The nod to Alexandra & Gorka's epic jive #Strictly," said one alongside a crying emoji. A second commented: "Gorka & Proud Mary OMG I know he was getting war flashbacks to his partnership with Alexandra #Strictly." Gorka and Nikita managed to survive the dance-off and eventually sailed through to Movie Week, with Les Dennis and Nancy Xu becoming the first celebs to leave the show.
