Rory ready for 2025

Despite only just getting his hands on the 2023 title, Rory McIlroy is already planning on going back-to-back at Bethpage Black in two years time.

“Winning an away Ryder Cup is one of the most difficult things to do in golf - and that’s what we’re going to do at Bethpage.”

European skipper Luke Donald takes to the stage and describes his 12 players as 'legends' following their victory.

On the back of that the players and fans call on Donald to lead them into 2025 at Bethpage black with the chant 'Two more years!'

Zach Johnson pays tribute to Team Europe

A classy statement from Zach Johnson. The American captain takes to the Ryder Cup captain to congratulate his European rivals on their victory. Speaking towards Luke Donald's team, he tells them: "You deserve it."

Fleetwood was two up with two to play, meaning the win was in the bag, but he secured his victory against Rickie Fowler at the 17th.

It's not official yet, but Europe has won the Ryder Cup after a birdie for Tommy Fleetwood to go dormie 2 against Rickie Fowler!

Shane Lowry has taken the lead against Jordan Spieth with one to play, too.

Fowler finds the drink!

It has all gone wrong for Rickie Fowler. He has found the water off the tee at 16, opening the door for Tommy Fleetwood to move two-up and win the Ryder Cup for Team Europe!

Drama everywhere you look on the back nine at Marco Simone. Jordan Spieth chunks a wedge shot on short par-four 16th forcing him to concede to Shane Lowry, drawing the pair level with two holes to play.

Max Homa take a bow. Homa has been the American's main man all week, and he came up clutch just when his nation needed him.

After a taking a penalty drop the 32-year-old completed a remarkable up-and-down to deny Europe the half-point they needed with victory against Matt Fitzpatrick at the final hole.

Two years ago Rory McIlroy broke down in tears for all the wrong reasons at Whistling Straits, this time around it is on the back of a superb performance.

The Northern Irishman issued an emotional interview with Sky Sports whilst stood green-side, admitting his bust-up in the Marco Simone car park yesterday evening worked to 'his advantage' after coming out of the blocks on Sunday.
