Writing on Instagram in a post shared with her 1.2 million followers, Montana wrote: "This has been me for the past 2 weeks, I wanted to be really open as I’ve really struggled mentally way more than I anticipated. My anxiety has been at an all time high and I’ve been so emotional which I struggle with.

"I know its understandable with juggling so much. Im trying to just have love and patience for myself as I can feel myself just being so negative and finding it hard to get out of it. Not being able to move, looking after a newborn, being in pain and just not being able to go for a walk and do things that I know make me feel happy and clear my head.."

She continued: "Just thought it’s worth sharing as I am normally a very positive person and the past 2 weeks has been the first time in an extremely long time that I’ve felt this low and upset. I’m always feeling grateful for the people in my life who always build me up and support me. My beautiful friends and family - I appreciate them so much.

"I know I won’t feel like this forever so this week I’m making a conscious effort to do my affirmations, meditate and breathwork as I need to try regulate my anxious bod and get back to happy Mon."

She concluded: "PS what can I do for my bald patches lol that also is NOT helping".

Montana's honest post was met with overwhelming support, from fans and celebrity pals alike. Skins actress April Pearson commented: "Very soon your bald patches will turn into a beautiful new sprouting of hair that you’ll wish you knew what to do with. When you’re deep in it, it’s impossible to imagine you’ll look back and miss it. Miss awfully challenging times like this?! Future you is okay, and looking back feeling proud that you kept going."

A fan added: "You are doing amazing bubs", with another sharing: "You have done extremely well with everything you’ve had on. Hopefully not long left before you’ll be walking around normally again! Sending you lots of love."

A third wrote: "You're doing so well, I can't imagine having a newborn and not being mobile, that's got to be so tough! The important thing is to be kind to yourself, being a new mum can be as hard as it is wonderful! As a mum of 2 it also flies over! So try and treasure each moment that bring joy."
