Rio Ferdinand trolled over bikini photo of wife Kate on wedding anniversary post
Rio Ferdinand was trolled by fans who spotted his huge blunder as he posted a bikini pic of wife Kate Ferdinand to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
The former footballer took to Instagram on Wednesday to mark four years of wedded bliss to the former The Only Way Is Essex star, but in his determination to earn some brownie points with Kate by sharing a snap of her looking stunning in a cut-out bikini, he managed to crop himself out of the photo. Uploading the slideshow of photos, including two from their wedding day in Turkey in 2019, Rio wrote: “Happy anniversary to my stunning wife x I love you more.”
But in the second picture, all that could be seen of the former England and Manchester United footballer was his torso, while Kate has the top of her head cut off. Spotting his cheeky blunder, Rio commented on the post: “Dunno why insta cropped me out the 2nd pic man…the hat maybe!!!” but his followers refused to let him get away with the rookie social media mistake. “Bro im still looking for you in second photo,” one quipped. “Rio you’ve no head in the second photo,” another added.
Rio posted this bizarre photo on Instagram, which cropped his head off completely“That second photo is funny. Where’s ya head man?” one joked. “Try the crop on that second pic again,” another advised, while one wrote: “The second slide! men in a nutshell!!” However, many of Rio’s loyal fans were happy he had managed to crop himself out of the photo with wife Kate, who looked incredible in a racy cut-out black swimsuit, as the couple posed on a balcony overlooking the sea. “No one’s looking at you in it tbh,” one joked. “You know where he wants you to focus your attention on the second pic,” another teased. “Well done Rio, keep punching,” one fan quipped.
The couple tied the knot at a five-star luxury hotel in Turkey in 2019, in front of their close friends and family, including Rio’s kids Lorenz, Tate and Tia, who he shares with late wife Rebecca, who died in 2015. Rio’s daughter Tia served as Kate’s maid of honour in the emotional ceremony, while his sons walked Kate down the aisle. “Having the boys walk me down the aisle was just amazing. It was a hugely important moment for me and they did so well,” she told OK! “It was everything that I had imagined it to be.”
