Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor's famous daughter Phoebe reflected on her public romance with comedian Pete Davidson.

The 28-year-old, who is best known for her role as Daphne in Netflix series Bridgerton, dated Pete from March to August in 2021. They were spotted packing on the PDA at multiple places. At a tennis match, fans were delighted to see her lean her head on his shoulder while he pressed a kiss to her head.

Their relationship ended due to the difficulties of their long-distance relationship, with Pete living in New York and Phoebe living in England. Phoebe admitted to being "naive" about the relationship as she didn't think her dating life would be a topic of conversation in the media.

Discussing the high-profile relationship in October's edition of Elle Magazine, Phoebe said: "It just goes back to being naïve – I didn’t think anyone would care. I was just being a young woman and dating and somehow that provoked a conversation. You realise, ‘Oh, I can’t live my life in the way that I used to. I have to keep my cards slightly closer to my chest.’

"There was a time, for example, when I’d post anything on my Instagram, and now I’m very, very careful about what I put out into the world." She also discussed how scary it was to find paparazzi waiting for her outside her house. "Having men outside your house with cameras is super scary when you live on your own," she said.

Phoebe has since moved on with actor Cameron Fuller but the two keep their relationship out of the spotlight. After starring in Bridgerton, Phoebe was thrust into the worldwide spotlight. She previously admitted the newfound fame gave her anxiety during a chat with Harper's Bazaar UK.

"I don’t think anyone knows how to handle that," she said. I worry about everything. I’m full of anxiety. I have a fear of failure, letting someone down, contradicting myself. You see what it is for your mental health to be in the public eye. I meditate, I have a therapist, and I walk every day. There are things I do to ground myself because it’s quite hectic at the moment.”

She said she was taken aback by the success of Bridgerton and only realised the impact it would have on her life when she found photographers outside her front door. She said: “I thought it was just another project. I didn’t think anyone was going to care. We were all in lockdown, stuck at home and nothing changed.

“In the first season, people were saying to me, ‘You know this could be huge’, but you don’t ever believe that, and you will never understand what it feels like until it happens to you. It’s quite out-of-body and weird."
