Josh Dobbs shared the embarrassing moment inside the Arizona Cardinals team store

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Dobbs found himself unable to purchase his own jersey the day before leading the team to their first win of the season against the Dallas Cowboys.

Dobbs, 28, filmed himself trying to make the purchase on Saturday morning and shared the video on social media. "I'm in the team store for the Cardinals trying to get a jersey for my fam," he said, addressing the front-facing camera on his phone.

The quarterback then says, 'Check this out' and switches to the rear-facing camera. He then walks towards a self-service machine that allows customers to customise their purchases.

Tapping through the stages on the touchscreen display, he hits a button that says 'select from roster'. Then, after clicking through, his name is not listed as an option.

"Your boy is nowhere to be found," he remarks. "You got all the numbers and no number nine [the digit Dobbs dons for the team]."

Flipping the camera back around, Dobbs continues: "Like, yo, I know I just got here, but, come on, we can at least have the custom jersey ready for me. Help your boy out."

The journeyman was traded by the Cleveland Browns to the Cardinals late last month and is deputizing for the injured Kyler Murray. He started their first two games of the season, losses against the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants.

The day after leaving the team store empty-handed, Dobbs led Arizona to a 28-16 upset win over the unbeaten Cowboys. He completed 17/21 passes and found wide receiver Marquise Brown for a fourth-quarter touchdown to seal the win.

Dobbs registered a season-high 120 passer rating and threw for 189 yards during the victory. It was also a momentous moment for the player as it was the first time he had won a game as a starter at the fifth attempt, spanning a stint deputizing for the injured Tennesee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the final two games of last season after jumping Malik Willis in the depth chart down the stretch.

Afterwards, he took to TikTok to update everyone on the jersey front. It was a reply to a comment on his original post from the official Cardinals account that reads: "The people have spoken. Josh Dobbs' jersey is now available in the team store!!"

In the new video, the quarterback holds a see-through plastic bag containing a jersey. "Guess what? The Cardinals, they got your boy right. We are officially live in the team shop," he says as he shows off the 'Dobbs 9' jersey.

"Y'all take it easy on the Cardinals; I just got here a month ago. But we're official. Let's get it!"

The team also shared the video, stating: "For those wondering, [Josh Dobbs'] jersey availability from Saturday morning was quickly addressed and fixed by Saturday afternoon."
