Wow! Mikayla Nogueira wasn't wrong! That highlighter really is 'blinding'!

If you’ve landed on the makeup and beauty side of TikTok, then you’ll know you can’t make it more than a handful of swipes before you see Mikayla Nogueira, the beauty influencer who left her job at Sephora to pursue her career in making beauty videos - and we can’t get enough of her!

She recently tried a full box of products that she’d ‘never heard of’, from the female founded beauty brand, The Beauty Crop, and seemed to be pretty impressed by the low price, but high quality items - even calling the popular Oui Cherie Hydrating Gripping Primer a dupe for e.l.f’s Power Grip Primer (£10), where one sells every 2 minutes!

Various other viral items she couldn’t wait to try out included the Oui Cherie Mist (£12), the Juice Pot Bronze (£10) which she hailed ‘so cute’, Juice Pot Lip and Cheek Tint (£10), Glow Milk Blushed Powder (£12).

Speaking about the Juice Pot Bronze, she loved how precise the doe-foot applicator was, especially when it comes to nose contouring - a technique often used to make the nose appear slightly smaller, and loved how pigmented the product was, with the “pretty, glowy” finish it left on her skin.

Choosing between the shades of Juice Pot Lip and Cheek Tint she had, Mikayla who’s known for her love of blush even said how she had a ‘really hard time’ - and called them all ‘so beautiful’, and she’s not wrong. Just applying one little dot to her cheek, as she knew they would be ‘really pigmented’, she quickly compared them to those by Rare Beauty, and was surprised by the matte finish left on her gorgeous skin.

In the second part of her review, Mikayla went on to speak about her she ‘really liked the way’ her skin looked - dewy, fresh and positively glowing, and added how ‘pretty’ the result was - and she looks phenomenal.

When it comes to setting her look, she used the Vitamin Babe Setting Powder, priced at £10, and it very quickly gained cult status from influencers and beauty lovers across the globe. Using the Pink 6, and said with delight how ‘nice’ the finely milled powder was on her skin - and how smooth her undereye area looked, and her face ‘porcelain’. Best of all? Zero creasing, which we particularly love to see.

Bringing back the dewy finish she usually ops for in her viral videos, Mikayla goes on to spritz the Glow Milk Seal + Set Mist (£12), and loved how ‘right away, the skin came back to life’.

Now, if there’s one thing she can’t live without when it comes to completing her makeup looks, it’s highlighter. Using the Glow Milk Liquid Highlighter, and even called it a ‘truly, incredible, beautiful highlighter’ - which is how it looked on her skin.

Right at the very end, if she had to pick two items to suggest to her followers? She naturally went for the Vitamin Babe Setting Powder and that ‘blinding’ Glow Milk Liquid Highlighter - finishing the video by calling the brand a 'win'.

Well consider us sold - anything Mikayla Nogueira uses, we need to add into our makeup collection pronto.
