Jordan Pickford’s wife gives birth to baby girl as couple share unique name

Jordan Pickford and his wife Megan have welcomed their second child - a newborn baby girl. The pair made their joyful announcement on Instagram this evening as they shared their daughter's unique name.

WAG Megan marked her new child's welcome to the world with an adorable post as she gushed over her daughter. The heartwarming instagram post read: "Welcome to the world Ostara Haze Pickford. Our dinky dotty dream come true."

New mum Megan chose not to share any photos of her newborn daughter, but she did share an adorable snap of baby Ostara's pink nursery which showed her cradle draped in pink. The snap also saw neon light display which read 'oh baby' on the wall behind.

Jordan and Megan are already proud parents to son Arlo, 4, who they welcomed in 2019. The lovebirds went on to tie the knot in 2020, after meeting as teenagers and turning their childhood sweethearts love story into a marriage. They first married in a low-key ceremony - where Jordan famously wore ripped jeans and trainers - but they later enjoyed a larger and much more glamorous affair with friends and family.

The England international and his long-time girlfriend said 'I do' in front of a small number of loved ones during the stunning beach ceremony in June 2022. Jordan and Megan had always planned to walk down the aisle in the Maldives but had to delay their dream wedding because of Covid. Megan confirmed they eventually got their dream wedding when she posted a number of stunning photos from their big day on Instagram. Megan wrote: "Worth the wait for the most magical day with my soulmate. Introducing the Pickfords. 18.06.2022"

Before saying their 'I dos', the couple worked through a hectic engagement after Megan had to have her £500,000 engagement ring cut off her finger. Megan suffered with water retention during her pregnancy with baby Arlo George, causing her hand to swell up.

Before making the drastic decision to cut the flashy ring off her finger, the 26-year-old took to Instagram to see if any of her followers knew of a way to get it off without breaking it into two. She shared how she'd already tried covering her hand in washing up liquid, butter and ice - but nothing worked.

Two hours after her desperate post, Megan returned to social media to tell her followers: "We've been to the jewellers for the chop. Thanks so much everyone for the messages, I'll try and reply once I have feeling back in my fingers."

Megan and Pickford have been together since they were teenagers - and welcomed their first child in 2019.
