Wine is a popular thing to have on the dinner table or to invite friends over to share, it's something that you see in many homes and is often picked up from the supermarket or corner shop on the way to dinner parties. Good Pair Days

This is a wine subscription box and for new members they can pick out a welcome gift of their choice, you may recognise this brand from Instagram. New members get to pick from a picnic set, a cheeseboard cooler and tumbler set, a decanter and wine glasses set, or a stackable wine rack set.

This one starts with a quiz, this is to get an idea of what your palette is, which is then used to curate your perfect wines. The questions are seemingly random, such as how much you butter your toast or if you'd rather sponge cake, cheese or macarons for dessert, but they work together to pick out your ideal wines.

You're then presented with 3 bottles of wine at various prices, although they start at £9, and what their match is to your tastes. This means you control the price as you can swap to a cheaper or more expensive bottle and shipping is free on orders of four bottles or more. Each wine in the box comes with tasting notes, a story behind the wine, food pairings and recipes made specifically for that bottle.

Virgin Wines have a few ways of getting wine to you, but the Discovery Wine Club is one of their most popular options. Similarly to Majecstic you get a case of 12 bottles of wine every quarter and they come with access to wine guides, tips from buyers and tasting notes for each bottle.

The wines are discounted down to £9.99 a bottle and every case has a discount of at least 15%, this does mean you could be looking at a £120 bill each quarter though. For first time customers there is a half price welcome case where you can get 12 bottles of white, red or both for £59.88.
