Emmerdale spoilers have teased more drama for Cain and Caleb - as they return from their mysterious trip.

The brothers have been away from the village lately, on a mystery trip which they haven't divulged a lot about. Some fans are convinced they could be heading to see another member of the family, like Debbie, for example, whilst others are convinced they could be going to get Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) and bring him back to the village.

Spoilers for the ITV soap next week have teased more about Cain and Caleb's plan. The pair seem to be still on edge, with things clearly not quite sorted for the pair of them. The pair are still on mysterious business, and head to the abandoned Wylie's Farm - but what could they want there, or are they looking for something, and will they find it?

When Caleb first arrived back in the Dales last Christmas, Cain wasn't keen to see him. It turned out the pair had a very chequered history, and things only got worse when Cain realised Caleb's real reason for visiting the village.

It turned out that whilst Caleb was Cain and Chas' brother, his father was Kim Tate's late husband Frank Tate, meaning he felt he was due the luxury and money that Kim's Home Farm brought the family. As a result, he - alongside son Nicky - tried to scam Kim and Gabby in a bid to get close to them and take Home Farm from their grips.

However, in a huge showdown, Kim discovered what Caleb had been doing and stopped him before he had a chance to clear her bank accounts. Whilst initially Cain refused any contact with Caleb, the pair have since made up and are now carrying out this rather mysterious mission together - but what are they doing, and what is their plan?

Back in July, Jeff Hordley - who plays Cain - teased things could finally work out for the warring brothers.

Asked how their relationship was at the time and if it will get any better going into the future, he said: "It’s not great, but I honestly believe things will get better. I'm hoping to see Cain and Caleb work together as a team at some point."
