Three suspected burglars are wanted for a string of raids including one at the home of England football star Raheem Sterling.

Items worth an estimated £1million are believed to have been taken in 33 break-ins throughout Surrey, Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire. They include the burglary at the Chelsea forward’s home last year while he was at the World Cup in Qatar with England.

Albanian nationals Alfred Isufi, 48, Gerard Kalaja, 22, and Henri Osmani, 44, are all wanted for questioning by Surrey Police. They are believed to still be in the UK and have links to Essex and North London. Surrey detectives are set to make a public appeal to trace the men on BBC ’s Crimewatch.

Investigator Det Insp James Ansell said: “Investigating burglary dwellings is a priority for Surrey Police and we will be relentless in pursuing these offenders.” The break-in at Sterling’s home in Oxshott, Surrey was reported to police on December 3.

An estimated £300,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen. The star travelled home to be with his family after the news reached him. He missed England’s 3-0 win over Senegal on December 4. On Thursday, a trial date was set for a man charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with the Sterling raid.
