Angus Cloud's cause of death confirmed after star's tragedy at family home
Euphoria star Angus Cloud 's cause of death has been revealed, with the actor said to have overdosed on a combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and more.
The actor suffered "acute intoxication" from the cocktail of drugs, according to Alameda County Coroner. It was reported on July 31 that the actor - who's best known for his role on the acclaimed HBO series - had died, aged 25, at his family's home in Oakland, California. The cause of death however wasn't disclosed at the time.
Announcing his death, his family had said in a statement : "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."
They added in the statement to TMZ that his late father had died recently and said that Angus "intensely struggled with this loss." The family continued: "The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend."
The statement said that Angus "was open about his battle with mental health" and the family added: "We hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence." And they expressed hope that Angus will be remembered for his "humour, laughter and love for everyone."

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of death is unknown. There's no additional information being released at this time This is an active death investigation."
Angus was a rising star in the acting industry, having rose to prominent through his role on Euphoria, which premiered in 2019. He played drug dealer Fezco 'Fez' O'Neill in the first two seasons, with the character having been a fan favourite.
It's said to have been his first acting role and after making his debut, Angus appeared in the films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023). He's set to appear in the upcoming film Freaky Tales and an untitled Universal Monsters film.
His career had also included appearing in music videos for the likes of Juice WRLD. Angus also made an appearance in the music video for the song Mamiii by Becky G and Karol G, which was released by the two singers last year.
