In a previous post, Jada reflected on the time period and how she never believed that she would send up falling in love and marrying the man who wrote the song. The actress also hinted that her memories and friendship with Tupac will also be featured in the fifth chapter of her upcoming novel titled "Advanced Degree." The pair were childhood friends growing up as they attended the same performing arts school together in Maryland. Jada has spoken about her late friend many times since his tragic passing speaking about how they were "anchors" for each other throughout their careers.

Jada wrote: "Not in a million years would I have dreamed that the Fresh Prince and I would become, um, very acquainted," she added: "And… I never would have imagined that this video would become a tangible memory, of the last time Pac and I, were simply kids together."

The talk show host's highly anticipated memoir will be released October 4 of this year. In the novel, the famous star will recount her life story sharing stories from her childhood, friendships, career, marriage, and parenthood as well as intimate details of her past including her struggles with mental health and path to spiritual healing and self-love.
