Marks and Spencer's 'perfect' autumn ankle boots can be worn with 'any outfit'

Marks and Spencer shoppers are heaping praise on a 'very comfortable' pair of ankle boots that have been hailed as 'lovely' for autumn. The £45 M&S Collection shoes boast several five-star ratings, with some shoppers claiming they loved them so much, they purchased a second pair.

The Croc Block Heel Ankle Boots are designed with a croc-effect finish and a short block heel, making them ideal to wear for hours on end. They come in a versatile black shade which means you can easily pair them with trousers, jeans, dresses and skirts. A zip fastening allows you to slip the shoes on or off quickly, while antibacterial padding keeps them feeling fresh.

Available in sizes three to eight, the Marks and Spencer boots feature a classic square toe that adds a sophisticated touch to nearly any outfit. You can get them in either black or a nude snake print.

Perfect for wearing them to the office or out in the evening, the boots have received mostly five-star ratings on the Marks and Spencer website. Shoppers have been raving about their comfort, while others say they look 'so smart'.

One impressed M&S customer wrote of the Croc Block Heel Ankle Boots: "Loved my first pair so much, that this is my second pair to keep Incase they are not available at a later date."

The M&S boots are already getting snapped up fast

"They look smart enough with maxi dress or leggings for going out," said someone else.

Only one shopper wasn't too impressed with the boots, saying: "they were clicking/popping every time I took a step".
