Teacher, 30, faces rape charges after sending naked shower selfies to students
A Missouri teacher has been charged with the rape of her 16-year-old student after sending him explicit nude images.
Victoria Nicole Fowler, 30, allegedly met up with the boy multiple times throughout summer before authorities in Missouri arrested her. Ozark Radio News reports the Bakersfield teacher from Caulfield used images of her breasts and shower selfies to seduce the victim, a student from the school she works at, throughout summer.
She has now been charged with three counts of 2nd-degree Statutory Rape and one count of 2nd-degree Statutory Sodomy, most recently accused of having sex with him in August. The investigation began on August 30th, lead by Ozark County Sheriff’s Office and Howell County Sheriff’s Office. Ozark County is a southern county in the midwest state of Missouri, named after the Ozark mountains.
It was sparked after screenshots from the teenager’s mobile phone were sent to law enforcement, showing the photos of Fowler in the shower which she had shared with him earlier this year. When an Ozark County deputy interviewed Fowler, she allegedly admitted to having sex with the student and having illicit images of him on her mobile.
Both Fowler and her victim were at Bakersfield School - Fowler as a teacherThe probable cause statement refers to the images as Child Pornography, defined as “any obscene material depicting sexual conduct, contact, or performance, including a minor under the age of 18 as a participant or portrayed observer of the material”, Ozark Radio News reported. According to the statement, Fowler has admitted to meeting her student three times in Howell County between July 4th and August 1st. She allegedly also admitted performing oral sex on him.

In the police interview with the teenager, it is reported that he said he sent the accused 20 photos of his genitals and first had sex with her on May 23, 2023 - most recently at her home on August 26th. According to the Bakersfield R-IV website, Fowler taught maths classes during the 2022-2023 school year, but has now left the district to teach in Lutie in the 2023-2024 school year.
