Coronation Street looks set to expose another murder as the walls start to crumble around Stephen Reid on the ITV soap next week

It looks like another death will be exposed on Coronation Street next week - as the police search for missing Teddy.

Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has killed several people so far, with the discovery of Leo's body airing this week on the ITV soap. Next week, spoilers have confirmed that they are close to learning the truth about Teddy.

Teddy was murdered by Stephen, who killed him when he learned of the truth of what happened to his son Leo. When Leo's body is discovered this week, and the police confirm it is murder, Jenny is considering paying a visit to Teddy. Stephen tries to rubbish the idea, insisting it's not a good idea, but Jenny confides in Glenda that she's worried about him as he must be struggling with the news.

She finds it odd that he's not been in touch about Leo's death, and heads to the police station to explain to Craig why she's so concerned. Stephen, meanwhile, is doing all he can to get Jenny away and he decides he wants to take her on holiday to Thailand.

However, his plans are thwarted when the manager of Waterford's arrives to say that the Rovers is being closed for an extensive refurbishment and all of their jobs will be terminated. Terrified, can Jenny and the staff rally together to save the pub?

Adam tries to help them, insisting there's a case for unfair dismissal, but when DS Swain arrives to say they can prove that neither Leo or Teddy are in Canada, she is in bits. When she says that's not possible as Teddy contacted Stephen from Canada, he panics.

Stephen actor Todd previously opened up about his character's "accidental" murders.

He said: "I don’t see anyone else on the horizon in terms of who could be killed, we’re not that far ahead so they could surprise me at any time. I was trying to get the grandstands on telly, I want to be the one who's killed the most.

"But in a sense, I think he’s an accidental killer. When he first killed Leo, it was actually scripted to be more of a scuffle for the phone and then he went over. But I decided, 'Let's let Stephen have a little more to do with that.'"
