A breakfast television star and journalist suffered a major wardrobe malfunction when her skirt completely ripped seconds before she appeared on-air for her reporting duties. She was even aided by her colleagues who had to rush to help the star.

Erielle Reshef, a journalist and correspondent on Good Morning America, recently revealed that she had an awkward moment while live on air. Taking to social media, the skilled reporter revealed to her followers that while she was on camera, her skirt unexpectedly ripped.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Erielle addressed her followers while she travelled in the back of a car. Snapping a selfie, the brunette bombshell penned a caption that read: "When your skirt rips SECONDS before a wide shot on @goodmorningamerica."

She added: "Thank goodness for @liliana01, @kecia_r_stewart, @johnettatao, @greedo320, for saving the day with creative [camera emoji] angles + [safety pin emoji] + [needle and thread emoji]."

The day in which Erielle referred to her blunder happening on was September 7, when she joined GMA hosts Kayna Whitworth, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan in the famous daytime ABC studio. Running through a segment about Snapchat, Erielle spoke about how the social media app is putting in new safeguarding procedures for teens.

During her appearance on the breakfast show, Erielle looked sensational in a green top, a mid-length denim skirt and some white heels. Remaining extremely composed while doing her job, viewers at home would have been none the wiser that just moments before her on-screen appearance, she had suffered a major wardrobe malfunction.

According to Erielle's LinkedIn, she is an award winning journalist and National Correspondent for ABC News based in New York City. She joined the network in 2017. As well as reporting for GMA, she also reports for GMA3: What You Need To Know, Nightline, and many more programmes.

According to reports, Erielle is 39 years of age and was born on September 23, 1983. This means that the Oklahoma-born beauty will turn 40 in a matter of days.
