Donald Trump has surrendered himself in Georgia after his latest indictment - but his wife Melania Trump is nowhere to be found.

During his first presidential campaign and time in the White House, Melania was a regular at engagements and we saw her regularly - but in recent months we've barely seen her.

Insiders claim the couple were living together at Mar-A-Lago but their paths "barely cross". Some reports claim Melania is focusing on raising their 17-year-old son Barron above all else. There are also rumours that Melania is considering divorcing Donald and renegotiated her prenup with him once they moved into the White House.

When Donald was first faced with having affairs with porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal, sources say Melania was unsurprisingly not happy. "Melania is no different to any woman. Having her husband accused of cheating on her not just once but twice is extremely disturbing. There is little wonder people believe it's not just the criminal court Trump is heading to but possibly a divorce one too."

Melania was criticised during her time as First Lady, with many saying she was disconnected from the public and acted too aloof. So it's possible that her absence from the public eye might be an attempt to avoid any more scrutiny, especially with all eyes on her husband.

Melania has spent a majority of her summer in New York while Donald campaigns across the country for his 2024 presidential campaign. A source recently told People that she is keeping herself as far away as possible from any of his legal problems. "Melania publicly supports her husband but privately prefers a life with 100 percent privacy and no press scrutiny," the source said.

"She knows how her husband is but still believes there has been too much dumping on him and wants nothing to do with any of it," the source added, "She hates all of the legal problems and says very little about them anytime, anywhere. She leads her own life."

In terms of her personal life, the same source claims that "Melania has a small circle of family and very few trusted friends. Unlike others who belong to her husband's clubs, she doesn't rely on outside stimulants to guide her daily life. She has her son, other family members, and select friends." In terms of her husband's most recent indictment, "this fourth indictment is another problem for her husband. Not for her."
