A Lizzie McGuire star is completely unrecognisable 22 years after the Disney hit show.
Jake Thomas found fame playing Matt McGuire on the show that ran from 2001 to 2004. However, the 31-year-old is looking quite different from when he was just 11-years-old when he was filming the series.
Playing main character's Lizzie's younger brother, Matt was usually seen up to no good and pranking his big sister. But now Jake is reflecting 22 years on about what the show meant to him and how it kickstarted his career.
He has now grown a mustache and is often seen referencing his Lizzie McGuire days on his Instagram account. He even has a podcast called Living Lizzie - A Very McGuire Podcast, which he films alongside fellow series star Davida Williams who played Claire Miller.

Jake is now 31-years-old (E Charbonneau/Bei/REX/Shutterstock)One one episode the pair reunited with Robert Carradine who played Lizzie and Matt's dad. During the podcast Jake said: "How's it going? It's been a while," before Robert pleasantly replied: "Good. You're looking 20 years older."

Jake joking replied: "Ah, don't remind me." Since appearing on Lizzie McGuire Jake went on to star in Steven Spielberg film A.I. Artificial Intelligence, before graduating from high school and then California State University with a degree in screenwriting and Japanese.
Despite carrying on with his acting career in shows such as ER, Cory in the House, CSI Miami, Rules of Engagement, Criminal Minds and House Jake has gone for a slightly different career as well. He is now working as a commercial entertainment photographer and director.
Jake was due to reprise his role in the series' new adaptation on Disney+, but the show was pulled before it could be released in December 2020. The original series kickstarted many of the actors' careers, including main star Hilary Duff's.
The Disney Channel show followed the life of high school student Lizzie McGuire as she made her way through life as a teenager. The series also starred Lalaine Vergara-Paras as Miranda, Adam Lamberg as Gordo, and both Hallie Todd and Robert Carradine as Lizzie's hilarious parents.
