Our Yorkshire Farm’s Reuben Owen has shared the first picture with mum Amanda since the family announced they were closing their beloved farm.
Amanda, who is better known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, make the shock announcement on her website recently, telling visitors: “Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice, so unfortunately we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for understanding, Amanda.”
The future of the Yorkshire Dales farm, which shot to fame in its own show on Channel 5, is still to be revealed - and Amanda hasn’t yet given a reason for the sudden closure. But son Reuben took to Instagram to post a few snaps as he shared “some recent pictures of what I’ve been up to”.
In one sweet snap, 19-year-old Reuben cuddled mum Amanda, highlighting the strong bond between them. Another shot showed him operating a massive digger, while a third was of him riding a motorbike alongside his dog with rolling Dales hills in the background.

He is set to become a huge TV star in his own right in the next few years (Instagram)Fans flocked to offer messages of support to the family as they called for another series of the hit show. One wrote: “Thanks for sharing these, I always look forward to seeing your pics. It would make me so happy if we got a new series of Yorkshire Farm.”

Another said: “Beautiful pics. When are you doing another series of Beyond the Yorkshire Farm xxx.” A third said: “Wonderful photo of you and your mum. No matter what you will be fine.” While a fourth added: “Lovely picture of you both. Sending you all lots of love.”
It comes as Amanda, 48, recently split with Reuben’s dad Clive, 68, after 22 years of marriage. As well as Reuben, the couple share eight more children - Raven, 21, Miles, 16, Edith, 14, Violet, 12, Sidney, 11, Annas, nine, Clemmy, seven, and six-year-old Nancy.

No details have been released, but media expert Nick Ede predicts a bright future for Reuben, who he says could even appear on dating shows if he splits with girlfriend Sarah Dow in the future, such as a UK version of Farmer Wants A Wife.
“Reuben could have his own show as he navigates his life in his early 20s – or we could see him popping up on a reality show like I’m A Celeb or Dancing on Ice,” he told MailOnline. And it seems dad Clive is setting his son up to be a star as he announced he was stepping back from being involved in any filming.
Clive told Lorraine: “I’m stepping back from that now. I think Reuben is going to go on his own, because he doesn’t want me on his hands. So I have no plans to do anything in particular, but you never know, someone might be daft enough to ask me.”
