There's nothing quite like deciding you're going to have a chilled night in solo, doing your favourite activities, and ordering a delicious takeaway for you to devour all to yourself. But what would you do if your takeaway didn't show up, and you found out that your neighbours had nabbed it for themselves? You'd likely be fuming.
One man was having a night in "playing video games" and he decided to order a pizza - but whilst he was gaming, he "got distracted and didn't realise the delivery guy dropped the pizza off", so when he realised, he went down to retrieve the yummy treat - but it "was not there."
He took to Reddit's 'Neighbour's from Hell' forum to explain that "the walls are thin" where he lives, and his "downstairs neighbours are always screaming at each other or their children, all day every day." He wrote: "I can hear everything. And I could hear them screaming at their kids that they let them take the pizza and eat it and be quiet."
He decided to leave it that evening, but "confronted them" in the morrning, asking for the $20 (£15.69) that he spent on the order. "They denied it, or knowing anything about it", he fumed. "About an hour later I saw them outside again and they that actually they did see a pizza last night but that they moved it onto the stairs for me so it would be easier for me to grab."
In a bizarre turn of events, the neighbours then accused him of stealing $1,250 (£980.55) in cash, and then told him again that they thought he'd taken the pizza. "What the f**k is wrong with these people?", he raged. "Just own up to taking my food and pay me back."

In the comments, people were equally baffled. One wrote: "I'd be calling the pizza store. Why on earth would they just leave it outside?" Someone else recommended using apps that allow you to give specific delivery instructions to avoid this happening again, ending their post with: "Still, this story demands some kind of petty revenge."
Another said: "Dispute the charges as not delivered goods or services. Get your money back and avoid them." "It's such loser behaviour for a neighbour to steal pizza like that!", a Redditor raged. Another recommended getting a Ring doorbell to catch them in the act next time.
