If you're looking for a maths puzzle that will blow your mind and leave you baffled - then look no further.

Many people love to train their brains to spot patterns in unusual places, and this maths question is no different.

"Only people with a high IQ can understand this", according to @selfdevelopment71's TikTok video, and there's no denying that the question is seriously confusing and will leave many scratching their heads in bewilderment.

The caption of the video is: "This is a test you need to grow your IQ", so if you're struggling to get it, maybe it's time to get more puzzles and brainteasers on the go.

The problem reads: "If 1=3, 2=3, 3=5, 4=4, 5=4, what is 6 = ?"

The aim of this puzzle is for keen problem-solvers to figure out the pattern and answer what the number six would be equal to.

In the comments, people were trying to work out what it all meant, and some people were way off with their reasoning.

If you're still desperately trying to work out the answer, stop scrolling because it's coming up.

The answer is 6=three. This is because, in the word six, there are three letters - but did you make this connection, or were you desperately clutching at straws like other TikTokers?

With this in mind, the same goes for all the other previous numbers, so one is three, two is three, three is five letters etc.

Seems simple now you know, doesn't it?

Many people guessed correctly on TikTok, but others were left flummoxed, leaving jokey comments such as: "Eleventy seven" and "I can't explain."

One even joked: "Point of view: You came to the comments section for the answer."

Did you get it right? Let us know in the comments.
