Incredible footage went viral from inside an unoccupied mansion worth millions, with stunning balconies, indoor gym, pool, marble flooring, and an amazing cinema room - all since demolished.

In footage shared with his 40,000 YouTube followers, the viral video follows the adventurous 19-year-old, Kaizer Glick, as he stepped foot inside through an open backdoor to explore the many exquisite empty rooms inside the deserted mansion, which sold for $4.5 million in 2022 (£3.6m).

The huge house, built in 1990, also had an incredible indoor pool and luxury hot tub in immaculate condition - both left unfilled with several childrens’ pool toys forgotten by previous occupants in the room, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the serene Lake Michigan, Illinois.

On the vacant multi-storey mansion, Glick told NeedToKnow.co.uk: "If I were to choose any home I've ever explored to live inside, this would be the definition of my dream home."

Unlit - with light fittings stripped from the walls, hollow fireplaces and high ceilings - the dark dwelling has a gloomy atmosphere and spookier still, the enormous uninhabited property had leftover Lego toys on a windowsill, plus a trampoline outside.

Children presumably played with the toys in the now desolate home and amazingly, one of the previous inhabitants - named Joshua - found the video and commented: “Lived there for 16 damn years and you got the audacity to screw with my Legos.”

Glick later said: “I thought that was awesome to speak to the former resident. I looked him up to confirm and it was in fact him.”

Incredibly another commenter, Nicole, said: “I was friends with one of the sons growing up in middle/high school and have some of my best memories in that house! If you could have seen it in its prime you would’ve been in awe!”

However this striking mansion has since been bulldozed; the luxury home with its large indoor pool, gym, theatre/cinema room, grand marble flooring and gorgeous views got demolished - even though it had only been 30 years since being built.

“There is nothing left. I was most shocked about how new it was for its demolition,” said Glick who watched the mansion worth millions be torn down because the new owner plans a new custom home.

“Will never understand why anyone would want to tear down such a beautiful home. This is just plain crazy,” said Sandra, one of many confused commenters.

The mansion is in Highland Park, Illinois, a popular area with athletes and basketball players, including Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan who has a vast property in the suburban city - on the market for £11.8m ($14.8m).
