Just Stop Oil leaders have run mindfulness training for activists so they can cope with being screamed at by angry members of the public.

It is feared the environmental group may target the Coronation after staging slow marches on London roads this week.

Our reporter infiltrated a Just Stop Oil training session in the capital on Tuesday where organisers prepared activists by yelling at them and ripping banners out of their hands.

The team, including protester Judy Bruce, who is in her 80s and blocked the M25 for Insulate Britain protests in 2021, demonstrated how to “go floppy” to make it harder for police or members of the public to remove them.

“The idea is if slow marches take place again and again for two months it leads to pressure, national conversation, and potentially a dialogue with the Government about our demands.”

Ms Bruce revealed she thought marches would continue for 12 weeks.
