An ex-McDonald's worker has shared a cheeky line you should never try to use to get your own way at the drive-thru window - because staff will see right through it. Of course, staff will come across customers with allergies each and every day, and they take them seriously, but if you lie about being allergic to certain things, Maccies staff won't be too impressed.

Ex Maccies worker Ally Eley, who posts on TikTok as @ally.eleyy, shared a genuine and rather common customer interaction she had, regarding Big Mac burgers - a firm favourite of fans of the food chain.

Ally role-played an interaction between her and a customer, where the customer asked for a Big Mac meal without pickles, because they were "deadly allergic", and if they have them they'll "die."

The former fast food employee then asked the customer whether they wanted no Big Mac sauce, as it contains pickles, and they replied "no, just no pickles please, the sauce is fine."

Ally reiterated that the sauce has pickles in, stating: "If you're deadly allergic, then we should probably take that out."

The customer argued that they still wanted the sauce, and the conversation went back and forth until the customer admitted they do not have an allergy - instead are just sick of Maccies staff "stuffing up her order."

"No worries, is that everything?", Ally said, and the 'customer' replied: "That's all thanks. And I'm not appreciating the attitude."

In the comments, people were shocked at the customer's blatant lying, with one commenting: "I would've put pickles on the burger", followed by crying emojis.

Someone wrote: "Maccas pickles are the best."

Another fumed: "There's a difference between dislike and an allergy", whilst another related as they wrote: "I used to work at Maccies and this happened ALL THE TIME."

Would you ask for a Big Mac without pickles? Let us know in the comments.
