Keanu Reeves has shared one of the reasons he can't walk away from character John Wicks ahead of the franchise's fourth instalment release.
Reeves, who reprises his role for John Wick: Chapter 4 release, admits it's the titular characters humour which he has developed a soft spot for since being first cast a decade earlier.
Speaking at the J ohn Wick: Chapter 4 London Premiere to Metro, Reeves said: “I try really hard, but with John, you have to try just a little bit harder.”
He added: “I like his humour, I like his will, I like his grief and it’s really fun to play him in these films, these films are fun.”
He also admits the character John is still one which challenges him despite reprising the role for a fourth time.

He will be joined on his quest with big names including Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Rina Sawayama, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada to name but a few.
A synopsis preview reads: "John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table, but before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into new foes."
And critics have high praise indeed for the movie, with one describing it as 'one of the greatest action movies ever made'.
Another critics, Collider's Steve Weintraub said: "John Wick Chapter 4 is f***ing awesome. Literally had to pick my jaw off the ground from some of the insane and inventive set pieces. You are not prepared for what Keanu does with the dragon's breath shotgun. Also, Donnie Yen brought his A-game. Can't wait to see it again."
And LA film critic Courtney Howard said: "Brawny, bold & badass'' and ''pure adrenaline rush''
Lionsgate has confirmed the fifth film is planned and initially it was suggested the movies were filmed back to back — but the pandemic forced plans to change.
The franchise, which launched in 2014, followed by two sequels, John Wick: Chapter 2 in 2017 and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in 2019 had a collective gross of than $587 million worldwide.
John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in cinemas on March 24, 2023.
