A YouTuber was left red-faced after his pet fish sent him an email and exposed his credit card details in a wacky experiment gone wrong.
The brains behind the Mutekimaru Channel made up a control system for his fish so they could play Pokemon on the Nintendo Switch, where they swam over different tiles that represented buttons on the computer.
It is believed the Japanese YouTuber wanted to see if his fish could complete a video game on their own, and his system worked extremely well and the fish were rocketing their way through - until the system unexpectedly crashed.
Then the fish were booted back into the console's main menu, and they quickly navigated their way through a series of complicated menus, even reading a terms and conditions page and sending their owner an email.
Then, in a final hurrah, they eventually ended up on a page that contained their owner's credit card details - all on a live stream that was freely available to all.

The YouTuber used a webcam and motion-tracking software to enable his fish to play the game, and footage still live on YouTube shows them swimming across a grid mapped below their bowl, wich each square labelled with one of the buttons from the Switch's controller.
The fish had completed a previous title in the Pokemon series in only 3,000 hours - and they're currently 1,100 hours into the new game.
Unfortunately, the game is known for being a bit glitchy, and when it crashed the fish managed to navigate to the Nintendo eShop.
From there, they added £3.10 (500 yen) to their owner's account, triggered a download from the store, sent a PayPal confirmation email, and changed his account name.
Thankfully Nintendo, who have been approached for comment, gave the owner a refund.
Meanwhile, a professional cuddler who charges people for hugs and earns £75 an hour has started hosting 'cuddle parties' - where people can snuggle in groups.
Trevor Hooton, 30, who goes by 'Treasure', set up their cuddle therapy business in May 2022 and now business is booming.
Treasure, from Bristol, charges £30 a session for a 'cuddle party' through his company, Embrace Connections, and encourages people "to explore and enjoy non-sexual physical connection in a safe, structured environment".
Treasure explained what they offer is "more than just a hug" - it's about "pouring care, affection and goodwill into someone through touch" - but admits that not everyone understand the business, as some think it is sex work.
