Brit entrepreneur missing in Morocco after leaving hotel and nightclub visit

A British holidaymaker has disappeared from a tourist hotspot, prompting her family to desperately seek answers.

Rachel Kerr, 31, was last seen “leaving a nightclub” after running out of money in the Moroccan coastal city of Agadir.

She has not reached out to her family since checking out of the Caribbean Village hotel, leaving them “extremely concerned.”

Rachel is an entrepreneur from Dunblane in Scotland and is known for her travel content and social media.

The avid traveler was on a work trip in Agadir when she went missing on Saturday, April 25.

In a highly uncharacteristic move, her mobile phone has been turned off since she checked out of the hotel.

Her family is now appealing for help and her cousin Claire Hill has pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.

“Appealing to anyone who may have had contact with Rachel Kerr in the last few days, and any of her contacts in Morocco,” she said.

“Please get in touch if you have any information. Her family are extremely concerned for her welfare.”

Claire confirmed that her cousin had been staying at the Caribbean Village Agadir, before checking out over the weekend.

“We’ve not been able to contact her since then,” she added.

“Please, any information, no matter how small, is helpful.”

Concerned friend Alexis Shaw confirmed that police are involved, adding: “She was last seen at Smart Nightclub at 5 am on Saturday morning.

“She ran out of money completely on Friday. Please get in contact if anyone sees her, as police are trying to locate her to get her home safely.”

Alexis said her friend was due to fly home a couple of weeks ago.

Rachel has worked with brands online, promoting trips abroad, including an upcoming tour of Agadir in October.

She is also known for her modeling work, public speaking, and being a published author.

During her time in Morocco, Rachel posted on social media about the area.

Her last post on Instagram came on April 13.

An FCDO Spokesperson told The Sun: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who is missing in Morocco.”
