Mollie King broke down in tears as she finished an exhausting 500-kilometre charity bike ride for Red Nose Day.
The Saturdays singer, 36, started the journey from London to the East Riding of Yorkshire in memory of her dad Stephen, who died of a brain tumour in 2022. She got emotional as she got to the last part of the incredible journey in her dad's hometown of Hull, where people lined up to cheer for her.
Her fiancé Stuart Broad and their 16-month-old daughter Annabella were at the finish line waiting to congratulate her on the incredible feat. The star managed to raise a whopping £1million for Comic Relief and was 'overwhelmed' by the response and the journey.
"Oh my goodness, thank you everyone for coming down," the radio presenter said after finishing the ride. "I am completely overwhelmed... I can't believe we have raised £1million. It was time for me to think about my dad and to know he was doing the journey with me.'

"It's the first time in ages I've really felt proud of myself and I'm quite tough on myself generally but this is so beyond what I'm capable of physically," she said from the back of a car.

"I'm not a strong person but to have got to day five, I was thinking, "Mol, you should be proud of yourself here". This is mad." Mollie admitted the challenge of cycling eight or more hours a day was daunting and she will struggle without the company of Stuart and their daughter Annabella. She chose Hull as her destination as it is the hometown of her beloved dad Stephen.
Mollie said: “He had done the London Marathon before. He was quite fit and healthy, which is why it kind of took us all by a real shock when he got his diagnosis.” Mollie explained losing her dad suddenly was her main motivation to get involved with Comic Relief, saying: “I know how amazing they are, but it does make you want to just be able to help other people who have been through things, whatever that is.
"Whether it’s poverty or homelessness. He’s going to be at the forefront of my mind with every pedal.” Mollie lost her father a few days after welcoming her daughter into the world. Her dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour a few months before he passed away.
