Gemma Collins hit out at Louis Walsh after he branded Jedward "vile".
The 71-year-old Westlife and Boyzone manager was a judge on The X Factor in 2009 when Irish twins John and Edward Grimes, 32, were contestants. As part of the groups, Louis mentored Jedward and during Tuesday's Celebrity Big Brother, he claimed he made £5million from the singing duo.
Louis hit out at Jedward during a chat with Colson Smith about The X Factor. Discussing the duo, Louis said: "They were vile," to which Colson said: “But they’ve done well.” Louis continued: “I got five million quid for them. I swear on my mother’s life.” Colson gasped: “F**king hell. I wish I had a Jedward," as Louis added: “And they were vile. They were novelty. But great for the show.”

Love Island star Amy Hart agreed with Gemma and commented: "Justice 4 jedward." The TOWIE star's followers shared their support of Jedward as one blasted Louis's swipe and said: "They weren't vile when he picked them to go through to the nxt round, they weren't vile when they made him 5mill. Louis needs to take a seat." (sic)

"Awww that's such a lovely thing to say Gemma. Your friendship is lovely to see. And you've been friends for years haven't you," another wrote. It comes after Jedward hit back at Louis themselves. "Louis Walsh is a cold-hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died," they posted to their 641,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Meanwhile, ex Celebrity Big Brother housemate James Jordan warned viewers will see a different side to Louis following Sharon Osbourne's departure. The former Strictly Come Dancing pro, who appeared as a housemate in 2014 and again in 2017, shared his thoughts on how Louis's future in the house.
“I don’t think he will struggle, but with Sharon set to exit tonight, what I do think we can expect to see is a totally different side to Louis as there’s no doubting that having Sharon around will have been like a massive safety blanket for him, and it will be interesting to see how he acts when he’s left to fend for himself," he told Betfred, in an interview exclusively shared with the Mirror prior to Sharon's exit.
“To be honest, I think the entire house will see an entire shift with Sharon leaving. I don’t understand why, but most housemates have put Sharon on this pedestal and treated her like royalty since she’s entered the house. I respect her entirely, but every time I’ve entered the house, regardless of who I’ve been surrounded with, I’ve treated everyone as my equal as no one is better than anyone else."
