Gary Goldsmith has opened up about his most recent conversation with the Princess of Wales and directly addressed his family live on TV.
The royal's uncle was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house last Friday and over the weekend, the Princess has drummed up attention thanks to the release of a photo which shows her posing with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The image has now been subjected to a kill notice by four major picture agencies including The Associated Press (AP) Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Getty Images over claims that the photo has been "manipulated".
Today, Gary appeared on breakfast show Good Morning Britain where he spoke about his time on Celebrity Big Brother and also responded to claims the photo had been manipulated. Speaking about the last time he spoke to Kate, he said: "I haven't spoke to Kate for ages. Maybe a year. It's for funerals mainly. I speak [more often] to Pippa and more so James and my sister."
Gary also revealed he hadn't had a chance to speak to any of his family yet following his eviction from the house. He explained he had been trapped in a whirlwind since his departure from the show.

And I wish this whole thing about that picture [goes away]. Kate looked beautiful and they should be very proud of that. My sister and I, we're very similar people. She's an absolute rockstar. So to my family, love you very much. Really proud of what you're doing. And Kate is an absolute treasure. So we are very lucky."

Gary spoke about the royals quite a lot during his time on Celebrity Big Brother, but said he was only partly to blame for that. In his exit interview on Friday, he told CBB hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu: "To be fair, people were asking me about it but they didn't know what else I was. Why are you here if not for that - people were asking me a lot of questions because they didn't know what to ask. I did volunteer a lot - but hey you caught me. I wanted to change what people think of me and who I was.

"It does hurt when you're always referred to being a 'bad uncle'. I wanted to change that. What an opportunity to have a sneaky peek behind the world of celebrity. I've tried to be myself, chuck in a royal thing a little too often. It was interesting to see an insight into their world. In my world, I am centre of attention but this is a different level."
