Sharon Osbourne shared her thoughts on President Donald Trump in the latest episode of Celebrity Big Brother after having worked together on a TV show several years ago.
It comes following scenes of Sharon, 71, discussing various celebrities whilst in the Big Brother house having aired on the ITV show recently. She notably lashed out at Adele recently, as well as having previously criticised the likes of James Corden, Anna Wintour and Ellen DeGeneres.
She spoke about former US president Trump, 77, on Sunday night's episode in a group discussion. Her remarks were prompted by housemate Fern Britton, 66, bringing up the politician whilst some of the celebrities were in the kitchen. Sharon went on to share her thoughts about Trump, after having worked with him on The Celebrity Apprentice. She was a candidate on the ninth series of the NBC show, which aired stateside in 2009 and placed third in the competition.
Sharon said on the episode: "I did Celebrity Apprentice with him." Some of her housemates were taken aback, with her adding: "Yes, I did it." She recalled that other candidates on the show had included the singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper.
Discussing the host himself, she said: "I have to say, very, very nice with me." She added in the discussion: "Extremely nice, very charming. And his wife was lovely." She went on to confirm that she was referring to his current wife Melania Trump, who has been married to Trump since 2005.
Donald Trump's scandalous The Apprentice sacking and his unexpected replacementFurther discussing the entrepreneur, Sharon said: "He's the sort of man that won't talk to you if he doesn't think you're a pretty woman. He treats women like [clicks finger]. If he thinks you're attractive for whatever he feels is attractive, he will talk to you. But if you're not, it's like..."
She continued in the conversation: "When he came over to England to meet our late Queen, he was walking in front of her. I mean that's how uneducated he is. And I just thank God that he's 78 because we won't have to suffer him long." The remarks come after Sharon recently took aim at her former colleague Simon Cowell in a conversation with her pal Louis Walsh, also 71, on an episode earlier this week. The trio had worked with for several years on the X Factor.
Celebrity Big Brother continues on Monday night from 9pm on ITV and ITVX. Previous episodes of the new series are available through the streaming platform.
